Edmund J. Campbell, Jr
Vice President, Assistant General Counsel
Edmund J. Campbell, Jr., in his position of Vice President, Assistant General Counsel, specializes in municipal law, zoning, real estate development, land use, government finance, government entitlements, and civil litigation. His responsibilities include coordinating land use, overseeing the land development entitlement process for all projects, and securing all state and federal permits and approvals necessary for development and overseeing in-house and outside consultants.
Prior to joining O'Neill, Mr. Campbell was in private practices and represented builders and developers in Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs including O'Neill Properties, Philomeno & Salamone, Home Goods, Strategic Realty, Victory Builders and Schaeffer Builders.
Mr. Campbell served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Joseph A . Smyth , P.J., of the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. From 1992-1996, he served as Assistant District Attorney with the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office. In that capacity, from January 1995 until June of 1996, he served as the chief narcotics prosecutor for Montgomery County, supervising a team of five attorneys and eight detectives. He served as Solicitor for the Borough of West Conshohocken from 1996-2001.
Mr. Campbell is the former Chairman of the Montgomery Bar Association's Young Lawyer Division. He is a member of the Montgomery, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations.
Mr. Campbell holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters degree from the University of Scranton. He earned his law degree from Villanova University School of Law. |
