Job Description:
O'Neill Properties is currently looking for a qualified Real Estate Analyst, this person will be an integral development team member and will be expected to perform a variety of functions including:
Providing the analytical support needed for the planning, development and construction and delivery of high-quality commercial office, retail development projects.
Financial Modeling - construct and modify highly complex and integrated project cash flows in excel to determine project feasibility, run sensitivities. Present results to various internal and external audiences.
Conduct industry research, gather and organize data, develop presentations. Special Qualifications Skills:
5+ years experience and demonstrated competency in financial analysis
Qualified Candidates may have worked for investment banks, large real estate developers, real estate consulting organizations or other related firms
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or other relevant business major
Excellent understanding of finance and very strong financial modeling skills in Excel is a must
Experience in project cash flow modeling and project feasibility analysis is a plus
Self Starter - the ability to prioritize projects and deliverables. Independently manage workload while keeping senior staff aware of issues and know when to solicit their assistance.
Ability to analyze problems, define causes and come up with solutions
Solid attention to detail and organization with the ability to keep the big picture in perspective
Understanding of real estate related tax, accounting and insurance issues is a plus
